Terms and conditions
These terms and conditions – as may be amended from time to time – apply to all our services directly or indirectly (through distributors) made available online, by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using our website and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Scope of our Service
Through this website we (Private-villas.gr) provide an online platform through which villa owners (including all types of temporary accommodation) can advertise their private houses/villas/condos and in some cases, villas within a hotel, for reservation, and through which visitors to the website can make such reservations. By making a reservation through Private-villas.gr, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with the villa/house/condo owners at which you book. From the point at which you make your reservation, we act solely as an intermediary between you and the owners, transmitting the details of your reservation to the relevant owner and sending you a confirmation email for and on behalf of the owner.
When rendering our services, the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by the owners. Nevertheless, we at Private-villas.gr will always try to ensure that all information is accurate and the photos represent the actual product. The only thing we can not be held responsible for is the owners behaviour or for any double booking they will do. If such an event occurs, then Private-villas.gr will try to provide accommodation equal or better value to the customers (Bare in mind that this is an unlikely to happen event). Our website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of (the quality, service level or rating of) any villa made available.
Our services are made available for personal and non-commercial use only. Therefore, you are not allowed to re-sell, deep-link, use, copy, monitor (e.g. spider, scrape), display, download or reproduce any content or information, software, products or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose.
2. Prices
The prices on our site are highly competitive. All prices on the Private-villas.gr website are per property, for 2 persons per night(unless otherwise stated), including VAT and all other taxes (subject to change of such taxes), unless stated differently on our website or the confirmation email.
Sometimes cheaper rates are available at our website for a specific stay at a villa, however, these rates made by owners may carry special restrictions and conditions, for example in respect of cancellation and refund. Please check the property and rate details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation.
3. Privacy
 Private-villas.gr uses high ethical standards and respects your privacy. Save for disclosures required by law in any relevant jurisdiction and the disclosure of your name, email address and your credit card details for completing your booking with the relevant property of your choice, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent.
4. Credit card
The website requires credit card details in order to guarantee your reservation. As such, we will keep your credit card information and ONLY pass it to the owner with the villa at which your booking is made IF there has been a cancellation or no-show at the villa that falls within the cancellation policy and more funds need to be charged.
In the event of credit card fraud or unauthorized use of your credit card by third parties, most banks and credit card companies bear the risk and cover all the charges resulting from such fraud or misuse, which may sometimes be subject to a deductible (usually set at EUR 50 (or the equivalent in your local currency)).
5. Cancellation
By making a reservation for a villa, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of that villa. We (Private-villas.gr) have set out a general cancellation policy to make it easier to our visitors at the website.
There will be no charge for cancellations received up to 31 days before arrival (There will be only an administrative cost, whatever is charged by the bank when sending money to a bank overseas)
30-15 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount will be charged.
14-7 days before arrival, 75% of the total amount will be charged.
6-0 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
Non-show or check-out before agreed date will result in the full amount to be charged.

6. Disclaimer
Private-villas.gr shall not be liable for (i) any punitive, special, indirect or consequential loss or damages, any loss of production, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation, loss of claim, (ii) the services rendered or the products offered by the hotel, (iii) any (direct, indirect, consequential or punitive) damages, losses or costs suffered, incurred or paid by you, pursuant to, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use or delay of our website, or (iv) for any (personal) injury, death, property damage, or other (direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive) damages, losses or costs suffered, incurred or paid by you, whether due to (legal) acts, errors, breaches, (gross) negligence, willful misconduct, omissions, non-performance, misrepresentations, tort or strict liability by or (wholly or partly) attributable to the owners (its employees, directors, officers, agents, representatives or affiliated companies), including any (partial) cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or any other event beyond our control.
